White Chocolate Mud Cake Recipe

Ingredients

1kg butter
4cups milk
8cups castor (superfine)sugar
600gms white chocolate
8 cups plain flour sifted
1 1/2 tbs baking powder
1 tbs vanilla extract
8 eggs

Method

  1. Preheat oven 160C(325F) grase and line 35cm square cake tin.
  2. Place butter, milk, sugar and choc in saucepan over low heat stirring until smooth. Cool.
  3. Place flour, baking powder, vanilla and eggs in large bowl.
  4. Using electric hand beater mix in choc mix until smooth.
  5. Pour mixture into lined tin.
  6. Bake 2 hours and 20 mins or until cake is cooked when teasted with skewer. Can take a little longer to cook.
  7. Leave in tin to cool.
  8. Decorate with white choc ganache, icing or simply dust with icing sugar.
