Chocolate Cake Recipes

Ingredients

3 tablespoons cocoa
1 cup sugar
1-1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
6 tablespoons salad oil
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup cold water

Method

1. Mix all ingredients into an ungreased pan which cake is to be baked in (preferred square pan).
2. Make three holes. Put oil in one hole, vinegar in another and vanilla in the last hole.
3. Pour 1 cup cold water over all.
4. Stir with fork until ingredients are well blended.
5. Bake at 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Bake in a square pan or equivalent size pan.
6. Ice with your favorite chocolate icing.
