Louisiana Chocolate Pound Cake Recipe

Ingredients
3 cups flour
3 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 sticks margarine
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
5 eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup chopped nuts
Method
- Preheat oven to 325
- Cream margarine, crisco & sugar together.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
- Add vanilla.
- Sift flour, cocoa, salt & baking powder together.
- Alternate milk flour mixture with milk.
- Pour into a greased & lightly floured tube pan.
- Pour nuts on top.
- Bake about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
