Golden Chocolate Cake Recipe

18 1/4 ounces yellow cake mix without pudding
3 3/8 ounces instant vanilla pudding mix
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup water
4 eggs
8 ounces sour cream
3 milk chocolate candy bars chop, 1.55 oz ea
6 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup pecans chop
Method
- In a mixing bowl, combine cake and pudding mixes, oil, water and eggs; beat on low speed for about 30 seconds or until moistened.
- Beat 2 minutes on high.
- Blend in sour cream.
- Stir in candy bars, chocolate chips, and nuts.
- Pour into a greased and floured 12-cup fluted tube pan.
- Bake at 350ºF for 60 to 65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool in pan 15 minutes before removing to a wire rack.
- Cool completely.
- Chill before slicing.
- Dust with powdered sugar, if desired.
Note: Can also bake in a 13″x9″ pan for about 45 minutes
