Chocolate Swirl Banana Cake Recipe

Ingredients

2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 1/4 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup sour cream
1 1/2 cups mashed bananas
1 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup chocolate chips, melted

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease an 8×8″ baking pan.
  3. In medium bowl combine flour & baking soda. Mix well & set aside.
  4. Blend sugar & butter in a large bowl using an electric mixer. Add sour cream, banana, egg, & vanilla & beat at medium speed until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in melted chocolate & stir just until marbled pattern develops.
  6. Pour batter into baking pan. Bake 40-45 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool in pan 15 minutes, then turn out onto rack & cool to room temperature.
