Chocolate Sheath Cake Recipe

Cake:
2 Cups Self-rising Flour
2 Cups Sugar
1 Stick Oleo
1 cup Water
1/2 cut Wesson Oil
4 Tablespoons Coco
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1/2 cup Buttermilk
1 Egg
Icing:
1 Stick Oleo
7 Tablespoons Milk
3 Tablespoons Coco
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1 Box Powered Sugar
1 Cup Nuts ( I prefer Pecans)
Method
- In a bowl mix: Flour and Sugar. Set Aside
- In a boiler heat: Oleo, Water, Oil, Coco and Vanilla. Do not boil just let get steamy hot. Pour over Flour and Sugar mixture.
- Add Buttermilk and Egg.
- Pour in a greased and floured 13×9 cake pan.
- Bake 400 for 20 minutes.
Icing:
Blend all ingredients well and pour over hot cake right from the oven.
