Chocolate Cake Recipes

Ingredients

Cake:
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 sticks butter
3 tablespoons cocoa
1 cup Coke
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
1-1/2 cups miniature marshmallows

Icing:
1 stick butter
6 tablespoons Coke
3 tablespoons cocoa
1 box powdered sugar
1 cup toasted pecans, chopped

Method

1. In large mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar
2. In a saucepan, heat butter, Coke, and cocoa to boiling point
3. Pour over flour and sugar
4. Combine and mix thoroughly
5. Add other ingredients, and mix well
6. Pour into a greased and floured 9 X 13 inch pan
7. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes

Icing:

1. Heat butter, Coke, and cocoa to boiling point
2. Pour this mixture over powdered sugar
3. Mix well
4. Add toasted pecans
5. Spread on hot cake
